Andes Mountains

Back Country Skiing in the High Mountains

Walk in Penitentes, Puente del Inca, Aconcagua

An excellent activity, physically easier for people with or without experience. With a higher speed provided by the Back Country skis, will help us discover new places faster in a more sporty and exciting way. We will be getting to know Penitentes, Puente del Inca and Aconcagua Park by skiing through the highest mountains of Mendoza.

 

Departure 6:00hs Monday to Friday, 7:00hs Saturday and Sunday

Return Puente del Inca – Mendoza 16:40hs, opcional 20:00hs

Return to Mendoza 20:30hs, optional 22:45hs

Aconcagua Snowshoeing

Trekking Full Day

Discover Aconagua and enjoy some of the most majestic snow-covered mountains in the world with incredible photo opportunities. This trip combines High Mountain trekking and snowshoe trekking. This alpine style winter trek gives greats views of Cerro Penitentes, Puente del Inca ruins, the Horcones (Cerro Aconcagua) and Cerro Tolosa. A moderate trek, planned to fit all abilities and groups of people (families, corporate teambuilding groups et al.) through some amazing natural scenery.

 

Departure 6:00hs Monday to Friday / 7:00hs Saturday and Sunday

Return to Mendoza 20:30hs / optional 22:45hs

Cordón del Plata - Mt. 3500mts Arenales Snowshoeing

Trekking Full Day

Vallecitos is 80km to the West of the City of Mendoza, in the Cordón del Plata. High altitude trekking and camping in the mountain range highest outside of Aconcagua. With peaks up to 6000 meters, Vallecitos is an excellent option for a winter hiking with excellent views from the summit of Cerro Arenales.

 

Return 19 hours

Duration 8 hours.

Professional bilingual guide, technical equipment (ropes, helmet, harness, shoes, radios, etc.) Box lunch (sandwich, granola bars, fruit, cookies, juice, instruction on climbing techniques.)

Not included
Cost of the transportation from Mendoza to Potrerillos, any cost if the climber abandons the trip. Personal gear, phone communications and items of personal nature, insurance liability, ground or air evacuations, hospitalization or medication of any kind, any other service not mentioned in this condition sheet.
