South base camp is used when climbing via the southeast ridge while North base camp is in Tibet and is used when climbing via the northeast ridge. Imja Tse, commonly known as Island Peak is a mountain in the Himalayas of eastern Nepal. Island peak is actually an extension of the ridge coming down off the south end of Lhotse Shar. Island peak is one of the most popular trekking peaks as it requires nominal mountaineering experience.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek

The principal peaks of the western portion of the great Annapurna Himal, including Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Fang, Annapurna, Ganagapurna, Annapurna 3 and Machhapuchhare, are arranged almost precisely in a circle about 10 miles in diameter with a deep glacier-covered amphitheatre at the center. From this glacier basin, known as the Annapurna Sanctuary, the Modi Khola knifes its way south in a narrow gorge 12,000 feet deep. Further south, the gorge opens up into a wide and fertile valley, the domain of the Gurungs. The middle and upper portions of Modi Khola offer some of the best short trekking routes in Nepal, and Poon hill offers a fantastic panoramic view of the Himalayas in the Annapurna region including three mountains over 8000 meters high. This area has been wildly recognized as a natural paradise. The upper sub-alpine steppe environment harbors rare snow leopards and blue sheep. Other areas of the region protect bird species such as the multi-coloured impeyan, kokla, and blood pheasant amongst a multitude of other birds, butterflies and insects. Many plants native to Nepal are found in the forest.

Trip length: 14 days Cost: $2500.00 USD

Mera Peak

Mera Peak, (6476 m/21,247 ft) Nepal's highest permitted trekking peak, rises to the south of Everest and dominates the cut- between the wild and heavily wooded valleys of the Hinku and Hongu Drangkas and is not truly speaking, part of the Khumbu Himal. There are many approaches to Mera; none of them are easy and some require the crossing of high and difficult passes, making a trek to the peak a real mountaineering adventure with spectacular and fine views of Nepal.

Mount Everest expedition 2011

Mt. Everest Expedition

Mount Everest, rising 8,850m (29,035ft) above sea level reigns as the highest mountain on Earth. Since the first ascent in 1953 by Edmond Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, reaching the summit of Everest has been considered one of the greatest achievements in mountaineering. If you have a desire to stand on the highest summit in the world, this is an exciting opportunity and we can provide you with an excellent chance of achieving that goal. We believe the ascent should be made in the best style possible, a philosophy that has seen us help our expedition members achieve many successful ascents.
