Northeast Mountain Guiding

Be sure your guide is certified in something higher than basic first-aid along with a CPR certification. All of our lead guides hold a Wilderness EMT, Remote Paramedic, Wilderness First Responder, Wilderness First-Aid or Wilderness Advanced First-Aid certification along with a CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification.

Each of our guides are certified in different fields of the outdoor industry and hold certifications from various outdoor organizations, including ACA, AMGA, PCGI, PHGA, PSIA, NASAR, NMA, AMI, EPGAMT and AAIRE. Some of our guides are members of Search & Rescue and Mountain Rescue in their regions. AT thru-hikers, EMTs, WEMTs, Paramedics, volunteer firefighters/SAR and registered nurses are what make up some of our qualified staff. Our guides are constantly training to further their skills in the outdoor education industry.

Northeast Mountain Guiding is owned and operated by Joseph Vulpis. He is originally from the Northeastern US and is now living in the Southeastern US.
