Bhutan & The Eastern Himalayas

For centuries the highest mountains in the world have hidden a tiny jewel, the Buddhist Kingdom of Bhutan. Come and explore this mystical country. You will find it is one of the last pristine places on earth – a place of unspoiled natural beauty and heartwarming hospitality.

Drukpath Trek

Th trip begins with 2 days of sightseeing in Paro, your arrival city, including a trip to Taktshang Monastery. Then you'll trek from Paro Valley to the Thimphu Valley by way of beautiful high altitude lakes, camping one night by the Phajoding Monastery. The trip ends with visits to Thimphu and Punakha before returning to Paro for you flight home.

Jhomolari Trek (Soi Yak SA Trek)

This trek starts in Paro Druk Gyel Dzong and travels to Jhomolhari base camp at Jangothang, returning via the same route to Paro.The view of Jhomolhari Mountain (7314M) from Jangothang is spectacular. This trek also affords an excellent opportunity to see Yaks. This is a very popular trek through Bhutan. The highest point on the trek is 4115m. The final leg of your trip will include a trip to Thimphu the capital city of Bhutan.

The Magical Kingdom Tour

This tour leads you from Paro to Thimphu , then Punakha to Wangdue and Gangtey. It begins with the spectacular Tiger's Nest Monastery and the National Museum in Paro. While in Thimphu you visit the National Memorial Chorten, the National Library and the Arts and Crafts School among other interesting places. In Punakha and Wangdue the Dzongs are featured.

Snowman Trek with Gankhar Phumsum

On this trek you'll travel to the remote Luana District located in Eastern Bhutan. It is considered the most difficult of the Himalayan treks. You'll cross dozens of high passes, many over 16,000 feet. Altitude, the challenges of long distances, difficult weather conditions and remoteness combine to make this trek a true adventure. The hearty are rewarded with the most magnificent views and unforgettable landscapes in the Himalayan Mountains.

Glimpse of Bhutan

The highlights of Bhutan are featured in this short trip. You'll visit Paro, Punakha and the capitol, Thimphu. Your sightseeing will include Takstang Monastery (The Tiger's Nest), the Punakha Dzong, the winter residence of the Kenpho and in Thimphu, the National Memorial Chorten, the National Library and the Arts and Crafts School.
